Heh! Reminds me of a time in high school when a group of friends and I went to this movie. Back in the late '70s there were a string of skit comedy movies like the Kentucky Fried Movie, etc.. One of those movies, I forget which, had the Sex Olympics. They had commentators like for other sports, talking about competitive sex as it happened. The joke of it was that what they showed on the screen was a messed up image like the horizontal hold and vertical hold had gone out. (Not things that happen in the modern era, but it used to be a thing....)

Well, this one friend of ours covered his eyes because he was very devout and refused to watch sex in a movie. (Poor guy...) We told him that they weren't showing anything...that that was the joke. But he thought we were trying to trick him into seeing sex. It was funny and sad at the same time. But more funny than sad.

I found this mildly amusing. Maybe you folks will too.
