Following the request received by many players, there is now a new option available that allows players to permanently rename one of their Age of Conan characters. The service is priced at 10 US$ per change and it can be found on the account webpage at http://register.ageofconan.com.

The way this works is that players will buy 'Service Points' which can then be used on paid services. As the character name change option is the first one available at the moment, this is the only option the Service Points can be used for. But additional services will follow soon and be added to the list.

Players who play Funcom's MMORPG Anarchy Online can use any available 'Service Points' from there also on Age of Conan offers and options.

Siege blocking occurs when Guild, which we will call Guild A, creates an Alt Guild, which we will call Guild B. Guild A has a battlekeep, so they use Guild B to "block" other attackers from being able to attack it by outdoing them during the War Declaration/Skirmish phases, and then does not try to attack the actual Battlekeep at all.

This is now considered an exploit and will be punished accordingly.

Due to the seriousness of this offense, there is a very harsh level of punishment involved for those found to be using it.


* First offense: Each guild leader will be issued a warning, and the blocking guild will be removed from the Battlekeep queue
