Couldnt agree more,
There should be no exceptions for ANY religious organizations, on any laws in this country.
It baffles me that we have religious organizations qualifying for tax exempt status. By thier inclusive nature, that very fact should qualify them for nothing.
As far as I know, Bhurka's are not allowed for Driver's liscenses or state or federal I.D.
If they currently are, it wont last - Americans are far too pissed at Islamists, to let that last for any period of time. Even if that is the wrong reason to halt such nonsense.
I just wish theyd do away with ALL special exceptions to law based on religion. This should have been taken care of some time around the time we figured out the world was round, sorry you dont get special legal rights because you you choose to believe in classist fairy-tales.
Any attempt to bring lawsuits on like manners should have those involved held immediately for contempt, and then prosecuited for frivilous litigation, and investigated for conspiracy to undermine national security.
Period.
I dont know what people dont understand about the concept, that your personal rights only extend so far as they dont infringe on the rights of others. You infringe on the rights of others to identify you, including law enforcement. when you throw a towel on your 'liscense plate' to hide your identity, its the same fucking thing. Just because you have a tradition in your country or religion of rapping your licese plates in your favorite underwear, doesnt mean its ok here. If it wasnt a matter of identity and security, it wouldnt even be questioned.
They know this, you know this, I know this. Any related lawsuit, given those factors would by definition be frivilous litigation, and an attempt to undermine local state, and federal security and economy. The only way it wouldnt, is if the court determined the prosecution didnt have a high enough I.Q. to even fathom this concept PRIOR to bringing forth the suit.
I really dont know why the govt doesnt do exactly this consistently, when applicable. Dealing with simular obviously formulated frivilous and caustic litigation is not what our tax dollars are supposed to be spent on. Not that this is a lawsuit yet, but, obviously, they were referencing it set forth a precidence of religious 'exemption' for later legal use.
douchebags.
throw it out, reverse the charges to friv litigation, possible conspiracy at local state and federal levels, remove Visas and apply FBI watchlists to citizens and non-citizens where appropriate.
